Travel Executive (UK)

We are looking for a Travel Executive, with experience in the travel industry or an operations focused role, to join our Travel Operations Team. You will be working closely with the Travel Operations Manager, suppliers and industry individuals to plan and operate extraordinary adventures, experiences, and events in some of the most interesting and remote parts of the planet, working with a fast moving, young, dynamic, and highly motivated team.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working alongside Travel Designers and the Travel Operations Manager to produce tailored operations timelines for each travel project

  • Coordinating with suppliers, accommodation providers, and local operators to ensure that travel operations documents are detailed and accurate

  • Analysing trip itineraries to develop contingency plans, safety procedures and logistics overviews

  • Supporting Travel Designers on trip finances and ensuring that payments to and from all third parties are made/received on time

  • Communicating directly with clients and suppliers during trips to provide support and assistance where required

  • Taking responsibility for enhancing the customer journey through bespoke updates and interactions



JOB SPECIFICATION

Key Requirements will include:

  • Experience in the travel industry or an operations focused role

  • Strong knowledge of project management practices and software

Desirable Experience and Qualifications:

  • Degree (or equivalent)

  • Languages (desirable)

Personal Specification:

  • Excellent planning and time management, with exceptional attention to detail

  • Creative problem solver and solution provider

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment

  • Team player who can also work autonomously

  • Excellent communication skills
