Sustainability
The construction of the lodges, deliberately limited in number, aimed to minimize the impact on the delicate environment. The camp relies significantly on solar power, with 240 solar panels providing 75% of its power and contributing to heating the hot water. All linen, sourced from EcoDownUnder, is made of organic cotton free from chemicals. Locally produced and chemical-free soaps are provided for guests, and chemical containers are reused, while bottles are recycled. The use of local products from the Top End of Australia is prioritized in both construction and boutique offerings whenever feasible. Guests are actively educated on the lodge's conservation initiatives, and for each guest staying at the camp, a donation is made to the Australian Wildlife Conservancy.
