Nepal

Begin your journey in Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital city and the gateway to this incredible Himalayan nation. Here, be welcomed and enjoy a short orientating walk around the city alongside your expert local guide, before settling in for the evening at the elegant Dwarika’s Hotel. The next day will see you visiting one of the world’s largest Buddhist stupas, Boudhanath, followed by a private audience with a spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism also known as a Rinpoche, for a truly sacred interaction, beginning your journey into this mystical part of the world. In the afternoon, explore Patan, an ancient kingdom filled with centuries old temples.

Depart Kathmandu via helicopter for a scenic flight to Phaplu where you will stay at the iconic Happy House, which to this day is owned and run by the same Sherpa family who built it. Here, hike up to Chiwong Monastery for lunch with the resident monks, followed by a prayer session. Visit the cradle of Sherpa culture, Junbesi, and end at Thupten Choeling Monastery, gaining invaluable insights into the history and culture of this enchanting region. Explore a local village market, before hiking to Ratnange Ridge, where you will overnight in a traditional ger camp. Marvel at this extraordinary mountain range as you watch the sun set over the majestic Himalayas.

Enjoy a sunrise breakfast at the camp, followed by a scenic helicopter flight to Everest Base Camp. Revel in the breath-taking landscape that surrounds you, witnessing this fabled location that tops the bucket list of many explorers around the world. Touch down for a short stop here, before taking off to view Mount Everest by air, landing in Kongde for lunch. You will then fly via helicopter to your final destination for the day, Pokhara. Later today, visit the renowned Peace Pagoda, and set off on a boat trip across Fewa Lake to celebrate your last evening here, soaking up the wonders of Nepal.

Departing from Pokhara back to Kathmandu, your private aircraft awaits. Hop onboard and enjoy a seamless 1-hour flight to Paro, continuing your spiritual quest in the intriguing Kingdom of Bhutan.

Bhutan

Upon arrival in Paro, take a short scenic drive to the capital city of Thimpu, stopping at a hilltop temple for a welcome blessing on the way. Spend a full day exploring, which can include guided visits to multiple national monuments and museums, with the freedom to completely tailor this to best suit your interests. This evening, settle into the haven of Six Senses Thimpu, world-renowned for its multi-dimensional approach to wellness.

Explore further afield with a beautiful drive over the Dochula Pass and visit to the famed Druk Wangyel temple, before arriving in Punakha. From here, visit the Khamsum Yulley Namgay Chorten shrine, hike through the forest to Gilligang Temple and onwards to the extraordinary Punakha Dzong, one of the oldest and most striking monasteries in the land, heralded by the Bhutanese people as “The Palace of Great Happiness”.

Hike to where the Mother and Father rivers converge, passing through a wildlife sanctuary to reach your riverside camp. Try your hand at archery or fly-fishing and enjoy dinner cooked over the campfire in the evening. Meditate under the starry night sky with the sounds of nature to guide you.

For the culmination of this extraordinary spiritual journey, fly to Gasa to meet with semi-nomadic yak herders, before strolling through the grounds of Zurig Dzong, across the mountainside to Paro Town. Hike to the mystical Tiger’s Nest Monastery, the birthplace of Buddhism in Bhutan.

Depart via helicopter over the mountains back to Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary, your final home-away-from-home. Visit the Kila Goemba nunnery, a meditational retreat, before journeying to the Chele La summit for unspoiled views over the Haa Valley.
