Sustainability

This accommodation is committed to sustainability in every aspect of its operation. It sources wood from sustainable sources and powers its facilities with solar energy, supplemented by paraffin. All cleaning products are biodegradable, minimising environmental impact. A garden provides organic fruits and vegetables for onsite use by the chefs. Additionally, the use of a Vivreau water bottling system significantly reduces plastic and tin waste, saving thousands of bottles and cans annually. Water is recycled for irrigation and to support the local wildlife dam. Furthermore, it actively participates in global efforts against HIV/AIDS as a member of the AIDS council of Zambia.
