Location
Located in a private concession bordering the Makgadikgadi Pans, San Camp gives guests the best of both worlds: game-rich open savannah as well as dramatic salt pans. The seemingly endless desert landscape is interrupted only by a scattering of desert palms and baobabs, and it’s this beautiful nothingness that creates a peaceful silence. And while the vast landscape is peppered with wildlife (think meerkats popping up from the dust, brown hyena hiding in the grass as well as hartebeest, springbok and gemsbok), it’s the ethereal atmosphere that draws guests in.
