Centred around a beautiful historic courtyard, bathed in golden light, the hotel rooms are nestled in amongst the gentle hills of the Chengdu landscape. Incorporating ancient Chinese architecture with clean lines and inspired by the Qing dynasty the house uses long-established building materials, wood carvings and flying eaves to give the feel of a family home typical of the region. The rooms are filled with hand-woven furniture and dappled light showcases the local weaving traditions incorporated on the walls and soft furnishings.
