Adventurers and whisky connoisseurs alike will be thrilled at this opportunity to explore all four corners of Scotland on this luxury tour. Exclusive access to select top estates awaits, including a stay at The Glenrothes, one of Scotland’s most esteemed whisky distillers, previously closed to the public and now welcoming Pelorus guests for the first time. Visit each of Scotland’s key regions, from dining with descendants of Scottish kings in private castles to visiting tiny, local distilleries – all in pursuit of tasting the finest whisky Scotland has to offer.

Begin your journey in the capital city of Edinburgh, the beating heart of the Scottish nation. A hub of culture and tradition, delve into Scotland’s fascinating history as you visit the famous Edinburgh Castle, where exclusive access can be arranged alongside a historian to bring this iconic royal residence to life. A private dinner can also be hosted at the Castle, with flaming torches and Scottish pipers setting the scene for a spectacular evening.

Dine at some of the top restaurants in Scotland while you explore the capital city and take part in interactive, expert-led whisky masterclasses.  Visit local institutions, stopping to sample a dram at The Ensign Ewart, one of Edinburgh’s quaintest pubs, before touring Scotland’s oldest, working distillery. Work with a genealogist to trace your family ancestry, tracking down your clan tartan, or visit a distinguished textile atelier for your very own bespoke design, gaining an understanding of this fascinating country and setting the tone for your journey ahead.

Travel northwards from Edinburgh, as you visit a stately home in Fife and meet with members of one of the oldest Scottish families, sharing stories of their 1,000-year-old history. Here on the estate’s lawns, a helicopter awaits to transport you to the western reaches of Scotland, to the mythical Isle of Jura.

A person stands on a grassy cliff overlooking a calm sea, with rolling hills visible in the background under a partly cloudy sky.

A stunning island in the Inner Hebrides of the West Coast of Scotland, the Isle of Jura is a sparsely populated and geographically unique region, making it the perfect playground for those looking to go far off the beaten track. Home to an epic cliff-side golf course, and adjacent to the Isle of Islay, with no less than ten whisky distilleries between the isles, this region is well worth a visit for a private tasting of these iconic drams.

Kayak around the islands, keeping an eye out for seals, herons, and the elusive otter, or embark on a marine safari aboard a powerful speedboat to spot playful dolphins and whales further out to sea. Stay in ultimate luxury, with exclusive tastings at four of the top distilleries in this area and spend each evening savouring a bounty of Scottish natural produce, prepared to perfection. Reserve one night for a private audience with a renowned local musician and storyteller.

Chartering a private jet through Pelorus Aviation will allow for seamless travel from the Isle of Islay to Inverness. From here, travel to the Speyside region to visit and stay at The Glenrothes Estate, previously closed to the public and now by invitation-only. Here, meet with The Glenrothes Master Whisky Maker and go behind the scenes of this world-famous distillery, learning about the inner workings of whisky craft and production. For true whisky connoisseurs and investors, the chance to commission your own single cask awaits, all while having the opportunity to stay on the estate itself in the beautifully restored Rothes House. This is a truly rare and exclusive experience in Scotland, unique to Pelorus.

Your journey continues with an exploration of The Highlands whisky region, where you will be joined by the world-famous whisky nose and author, Charles MacLean MBE. Set off on a private tour and tasting at Brora Distillery, a bucket list experience for any whisky lover, and go further afield as you helicopter over to the Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye, taking in the most magnificent sights of Kilt Rock Waterfall and The Quairing from above.

The final stop on your adventure is the stunning Cairngorms National Park, where fishing, wild swimming, off road driving, foraging and other outdoor pursuits take centre stage. Spend a morning fly-fishing alongside a ghillie, before setting out on a 4x4 Land Rover tour of the hillsides around Balmoral Castle, the Scottish home of The Royal Family. Savour a delightful private lunch in a hillside bothy, a very special Scottish experience, before ending the day with a visit to a classic local pub where local ales, live music and a selection of over 180 whiskies are waiting to be enjoyed.
