seeking a high-performing Head of Trade Partnerships with an extensive network of luxury travel advisors
and the ambition to further develop Pelorus’ sales offering and relationships with the trade.

Your Mission
As Head of Trade Partnerships, you will work with both our Head of Global Partnerships and BD, and our trade sales representation firm, to own and scale the company’s trade ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, revenue, and relationships - responsible for building high-value partnerships with luxury travel advisors and agents, deepening the relationships with top-tier trade partners, and turning trade relationships into a measurable revenue engine.
You will represent the brand at the highest level in the luxury travel trade, shaping how the market perceives, sells, and prioritises our hyper-personalised, client focused product.

Your Responsibilities
Trade Channel Strategy
Define and execute the global trade distribution strategy aligned with commercial and brand priorities.
Segment the trade landscape and establish clear engagement and production models for each.
Set channel-specific revenue, production, and engagement targets, and own delivery.
Trade Relationship Management
Lead senior-level relationships with luxury travel consortia, host agencies, and top-producing advisors.
Manage preferred programs, commission structures, overrides, incentives, and trade agreements.
Act as the primary commercial owner of all trade relationships, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accountability.
Trade Performance & Revenue Delivery
Own trade-channel forecasting, performance tracking, and reporting.
Analyse conversion, and partner ROI to continuously optimise the trade portfolio.
Rationalise underperforming relationships and reinvest in high-impact trade partners.
Take full ownership of the trade sales pipeline including lead generation, opportunity management, conversion strategy, and direct involvement in closing key trade driven sales.
Drive revenue growth through disciplined pipeline management, proactive partner engagement, and structured follow through on all trade opportunities.
Trade Enablement & Activation
Oversee trade onboarding, education, and engagement programs to drive sell-through.
Partner with Marketing to deliver high-quality trade tools, content, and campaigns, without diluting brand positioning.
Lead communications and performance metrics with the trade representation partner.
Direct trade events, roadshows, fam trips, and industry presence with a performance-first lens.
Internal Leadership & Alignment
Serve as the internal authority on the trade channel, providing structured insights to leadership, product, and operations teams.
Build, lead, and scale a trade partnerships team as required.
Establish clear processes, KPIs, and operating rhythm across the trade function.
