Your Mission

As a Travel Designer, you will be responsible for the creative interpretation of client intent into extraordinary, structured travel experiences. Working in close partnership with Private Client Managers, the Travel Designer translates emotional drivers, motivations, and desired outcomes into operationally executable journeys.

This role owns the integrity of the experience design, from concept through delivery, ensuring each itinerary reflects the company’s creative standards while remaining feasible, cost-controlled, and margin-aligned.

Your Responsibilities

Experience Designer & Creative Ownership

  • Design exceptional, highly bespoke itineraries, and experiential concepts aligned with client intent and brand standards.

  • Translate qualitative client insights provided by Private Client Managers into compelling creative narratives and journey flow.

  • Maintain ownership of the creative vision throughout the lifecycle, ensuring design integrity through to delivery.

  • Push creative boundaries while simultaneously ensuring the highest level of operational delivery.

Proposal Development & Costing

  • Build detailed proposals, itineraries, and creative materials, with support from Travel Executives.

  • Develop accurate and transparent costing sheets with strong margin discipline.

  • Ensure all proposals align with commercial targets, delivery requirements, and risk parameters.

  • Lead the preparation of all pre-sale materials required for client proposal presentations. close relationships with clients to support their long-term travel plans, delivering exceptional customer service with high attention to detail.

Supplier Engagement

  • Manage all supplier communications during the design and pre-sale phase.

  • Secure availability, pricing, and contractual terms consistent with standards needed to deliver intent.

  • Collaborate with Operations and TEs to ensure a smooth transition from design to execution.

Sales & Client-Facing Collaboration

  • Work closely with Private Client Managers to fully understand client needs, preferences, and expectations.

  • Support PCMs in the presentation of proposals, owning the creative storytelling and experiential rationale.

  • Engage directly with B2B clients alongside the Business Development Manager, where applicable (if not assigned to a Private Client Manager).

Operational Support & Design Integrity

  • Project manage throughout delivery to ensure the experience is executed as designed.

  • Provide live-trip support as required, with defined escalation pathways.

  • Lead problem-solving during operations while protecting the original creative intent.

Internal Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Partner with Travel Executives to delegate and scale operational tasks where appropriate.

  • Share destination expertise, supplier intelligence, and creative best practices across the team.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design and delivery standards, tools, and processes.
