Number one unforgettable travel experience?

Hiking to Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) monastery in Bhutan during a recce remains one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had. A heavy snowfall had deterred other visitors, but alongside a local Bhutanese guide — and a pack of stray dogs that joined us along the way — we made the ascent in complete solitude. Reaching the monastery and sharing tea with the monks in such stillness felt incredibly sacred, almost suspended in time.

Top of your travel bucket list?

At the top of my list would be a hut-to-hut trek through the Dolomites, a summer sailing journey along the Norwegian coast, and a safari through East Africa. I love experiencing an environment by moving through nature.

Who is your ultimate travel partner?

Either my mother or a small group of close friends. My mother spent 35 years as a flight attendant, so I credit her for instilling my curiosity for the world from a young age. There’s a real sense of joy in travelling with her — seeing places through her eyes never gets old. Paired with a shared love for slowing down, indulging in a great spa, and savoring the moment, it strikes the perfect balance.
