Number One Unforgettable Travel Experience

It has to be spending two summers at archaeological field school in Greece as part of my undergraduate degree. Getting to immerse myself in the history and culture of Crete while excavating and processing the finds from a c. 3000-year-old site was something I'll never forget.

Spending a few days in the remote regions of Iceland is a close second. It is such a breathtaking and unique place.

Top of your travel bucket list

Mongolia is definitely at the top of my list. Not only for its modern culture and landscape, but it has a fascinating, long history that archaeologists are still piecing together. There are megalithic sites and petroglyphs older than the pyramids!

Who is your ultimate travel partner?

My best friend, Tori. We both have the same adventurous spirit and love of history. We're basically a two-person trivia team wherever we go!
