Number one unforgettable travel experience?

It’s hard to choose just one, but two stand out. First, sailing around St. Vincent and the Grenadines - waking up on a boat to find yourself anchored off a deserted island with nothing but a single restaurant was unforgettable. The Tobago Cays remain, to me, one of the most breathtaking places on earth.

Second, a journey by boat from Aswan to Luxor in Egypt. Exploring ancient temples after hours and playing football with local children on the banks of the Nile before a sunset dinner made it truly magical.

Top of your travel bucket list?

Kenya is at the top of my list. I’d like to spend a month there, starting with time at an elephant sanctuary to better understand conservation work. From there, I’d visit a local tribe to learn firsthand about their culture and daily life. I’d end the trip on the Kenyan coast, spending time in areas like Lamu or Kiwayu island to experience the country’s coastal landscape and Swahili heritage.

Who is your ultimate travel partner?

My ultimate travel partner would probably be my sister. Amelia as well as myself grew up in the Caribbean before going to spend years working on yachts in Croatia. I always know she would be up for a fun adventure, would keep me competitive and pushing myself and she’s a pretty good cook….
