The homestead

The exclusive-use Homestead sleeps up to eight guests, ideal for families and small groups of friends. To counteract the rugged outdoors, the interiors have been carefully designed with refined and warm furnishings. There are four ensuite double bedrooms, all with private terraces, fireplaces, and deep bathtubs perfect for soaking in after a long day of adventures.

The inviting lounge and dining room boast an open fireplace and sitting room with bar, books, and games. There’s also a cosy den with a vinyl record desk, large TV and music system. Outside guests can expect a terrace with a pool, hot spa and firepit, along with a barbeque area (top tip for families: spend an evening under the stars roasting marshmallows).

Brand new for December 2024, FLOCKHILL will be adding a series of seven villa complexes comprising 14 private suites which can either be reserved as individual rooms or as an entire villa for a friends or family retreat.

Part of the FLOCKHILL experience is the dining, with a private chef on hand to concoct mouth-watering dinners from locally sourced ingredients to your exacting specifications, be it a four-course spread, family-style, or from the barbecue. And perfectly paired with the food is the drink, with a well-stocked wine cellar offering a tasting tour of exceptional New Zealand product, from Marlborough sauvignons blancs to locally distilled gins and whiskies.
