Journey from Belize City to Altun Ha where you will discover one of the most important Mayan Ruins in the country, nestled amongst lush forests and vegetation. Wander through the stone Mayan structures and climb 54 feet up to the top of the central temple, gaining a spectacular view of the surrounding jungle.

Ambergris Caye

Travel by boat to Ambergris Caye, Belize’s largest island and renowned for its exhilarating water sports, scuba diving, and immaculate beaches. Join a cruise with the American Crocodile Education Sanctuary where you will survey the mangrove habitat in search of the enigmatic saltwater crocodiles. Track, catch, and help to relocate these creatures to support this non-profit organisation and boost crocodile conservation in the surrounding area. Continue your journey to the extensive coral reefs of Hol Chan Marine Reserve where there are more than 400 islands, stretching 185 miles of coastline. Snorkel or dive in the famous Shark Ray Alley for an unforgettable up-close interaction with these fascinating creatures.

Turneffe Attoll

Once an oceanic mountainous peak, now fringed by powder-white beaches and azure waters, this is Turneffe Attoll. Learn about the island’s eco-conscious ethos and the conservation initiatives in place from researchers and environmental enthusiasts. Try your skills at spearfishing for your evening meal, dive, snorkel, or simply revel in the tranquillity of this Caribbean paradise. Take a helicopter ride to the Great Blue Hole, a sinkhole that extends 125m into the Earth’s crust. Leap from the helicopter and be met by a member of the Pelorus dive team who will guide you and your diver propulsion vehicles to explore this unbelievable location.

Soar over sweeping expanses of wild and untamed scenery as you arrive into Caracol by helicopter.

Chiquibul Forest Reserve

One of the largest remaining blocks of tropical forest in Central America is the Chiquibul Forest Reserve, and a location where you will receive endless opportunities to connect with this beautiful landscape. Gain an insight into the period of Mayan history when Belize was once home to more than two million Mayas and discover sacred temples, pyramids, and palaces in this magical environment.
