Great Bear Rainforest

Begin your journey nestled between the staggering slopes of Mt Stupendous and Mt Millikan, as you start to familiarise yourself with this magical landscape. Accompanied by experienced guides and naturalists you will venture into the Great Bear Rainforest to see how this unique ecosystem combines oceans, rivers and land. Your guide will explain the ecology of the area as you learn how to track grizzly bears, pointing out various signs including bite marks on trees and tracks where bears dig out the forest floor for their naps.

Bella Coola Valley

As you journey onwards into the Bella Coola Valley you will witness the pristine ecosystem rich with vibrant artistic culture of the First Nations heritage. Take your time as you wonder by foot or on horseback in the tranquillity of this untampered valley.

Nimmo Bay

Depart Tweedsmuir to connect with your private seaplane flight to Nimmo Bay, tucked away at the base of the 5,000-foot Mount Stephens. Start your day hiking over the undulating shoreline, in and out of the forest and along the beach.
