Rhino Conservancy & Luxury in Amboseli

Once you’ve arrived in Kenya and met your guide, you’ll be transferred by private plane to a stunning lodge on a rhino conservancy in the Laikipia region. While staying here, you’ll learn the details of an immense operation protecting elephants and rhinos, as well as meet the conservationists that risk their lives for their beliefs. You’ll also take part in a training session with the field rangers and their intuitive tracker dogs.

From here you will fly to remote Amboseli National Park, to a private luxury tented camp with Mount Kilimanjaro dominating the skyline. Renowned as being one of the best places to catch sight of a large elephant herd, you’ll experience unparalleled wildlife spotting opportunities both day and night, on foot and on four wheels.

MAASAI LION GUARDIANS & TURTLE WATCH

Due to our very close relationship with the local Maasai tribe in this area, you will have the privileged opportunity to meet the villagers, hear their stories, visit their schools, throw spears, build fires, sing and dance. Head out with the Lion Guardians, a group of young Maasai warriors who track and protect lion prides on a daily basis.

Afterward take a private charter to Watamu on the coast, where tropical forests and white beaches border turquoise lagoons and biodiverse coral reefs. You will have the chance to take part in the Watamu Turtle Watch project, learning about their endless efforts to save the turtles and other marine life. Help with their rescue operations and experience the joy and satisfaction of releasing healthy creatures back into the water.
