Spending much of her childhood on the Norfolk and Suffolk coasts, outdoor adventures and aquatic pursuits have always been at the forefront of Laura’s mind. Her annual visits to visit family in Jamaica exposed her to exotic destinations and vibrant cultures from a young age, igniting her love of travel.
During a six-month adventure across Australia and southeast Asia, Laura learnt to scuba dive and was instantly enthralled by the underwater world. While studying History and English Literature at Oxford Brookes, she spent her university vacations traveling across various parts of Asia in order to satisfy her diving passion. After graduating, she headed to Costa Rica’s pacific coast for four months to qualify as a Padi Divemaster, guiding clients through the wondrous habitats of turtles, sting rays and bull sharks.
Returning to the UK, Laura joined Pelorus in the summer of 2022 as a Travel Intern before then becoming a Travel Designer.
