  • Her international perspective has been informed by extensive travel across Central and South America, Europe, and India. With a background in luxury travel, she brings particular regional expertise in Spain.

Number one unforgettable travel experience?

Trekking through Peru’s Colca Canyon with condors soaring overhead, completely remote, spending the night in a hidden oasis, then taking on a 4am ascent out of the canyon was unforgettable. (We did return to our hostel in Arequipa to find that the Peruvian borders were closing due to Covid, so definitely a bittersweet memory!)

But then there was watching the sunrise over the Taj Mahal. I had expected it to be an overrated tourist stop, but seeing it in the early morning light was genuinely breathtaking.

Top of your travel bucket list?

I have unfinished business with South America – I was particularly gutted I didn’t make it to Patagonia so that would definitely be up there! If not then I am fascinated by Japan, so would love to experience that.



Who is your ultimate travel partner?

My group of university friends – we know each other well enough to appreciate that sometimes a bit of silence is exactly what you need. We can switch between chaotic laughter and comfortable quiet without anything feeling awkward!
