Location

Awasi Mendoza is strategically located on a 55-acre property in the heart of the Luján de Cuyo region, just 30 minutes south of Mendoza city. The property is perfectly positioned between some of Mendoza's most renowned wineries and the majestic Andes Mountains, offering breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks. Situated amidst lush vineyards, it offers tranquility, privacy, and exclusive access to some of Argentina's most prestigious wineries.

Design

This stylish hideaway houses fourteen rooms and villas that each offer something unique. The focus is on bringing the beauty of the region inside, with stone walls and Spanish colonial features. The villas offer private plunge pools looking out over the vineyards and a personal terrace to watch the sunset. The house also contains a large pool, well-equipped gym and rejuvenating spa, where trained therapists offer a range of wonderful wine inspired treatments infused with grape seed extracts from the surrounding vineyards and antioxidant-rich red wine.

Cuisine

At Awasi Mendoza, cuisine is an expression of place. Menus shift with the seasons, celebrating exceptional regional flavors through traditional dishes crafted from organically grown ingredients. Much of the produce is harvested from the hotel's kitchen garden, ensuring a true farm-to-table experience that is both sustainable and deeply rooted in the surrounding landscape. Complementing each meal is a hand-selected pairing from the onsite, underground cellar, which holds over 250 bottles exclusively from the Mendoza region - a testament to Argentina’s world-renowned winemaking heritage.

Sustainability

The hotel handles all organic waste through a composting process that goes back into the kitchen garden and vineyard. Strategically placed solar panels make the most of the 320 days of sun per year and are used to pre-heat water, saving up to 50% of gas consumption. The property also reutilizes water from wash basins, showers and baths, recycled on-site for landscape irrigation and on top of this they work with the Agrelo’s community to develop children’s education and proper nutrition.
