With its location right next to the iconic cherry red aerial tram it’s your ideal pit stop. For a more special culinary experience, the Caldera House institution, Old Yellow Garage has an eclectic menu showcasing creative takes on local food. Activities

When planning your days, there are some tough decisions between heading out to explore the astonishing natural beauty of the jutting peaks of the Teton’s or relaxing in the wellness suite and spa. The bespoke experiences available at Caldera utilize the unworldly geography of its location. In winter opt for a heli-skiing trip to take you to the untouched piste and follow one of the experienced guides to the best backcountry skiing slopes in Teton National park. Other mountain experiences include snowshoeing, snowmobiling, dog-sledding, or cross-country skiing, so whatever your skillset you can make the most of the jeweled white wilderness. In the warmer summer months, the snow gives way to stunning hiking trails through wildflower meadows and forests of conifers. Choose to use your own two feet, get up in the saddle on a horse trek, or take a mountain biking excursion. The warmer months also open up Snake River as a playground for water sports. With canyons and rapids for white water rafting and large pools of crystal-clear water ideal for kayaking or swimming.
