Design
With glittering chandeliers, marble statues and ornamental gold detailing, the hotel reflects the architectural trends of the glamorous 1920s. Designed by renowned architect Bill Bensley, it is reminiscent of a petite auberge during the golden age of opera. The interiors are exceptionally stylish with red velvet drapes, bronze surfaces, Art Deco-style columns and gilded cocktail bars. Spa facilities include a cold plunge pool, steam room, sauna, and freshwater pool room adorned with crystal chandeliers and mirrored ceilings, designed to resemble a haven for opera singers to rest their voices. There is a rooftop bar, an opulent lounge, and 47 spacious, tastefully designed suites, including four Grand Opera Suites complete with private balconies, open-air Jacuzzis, opera memorabilia, and custom artworks.
