Location

Suyian Lodge is set deep within northern Kenya’s Laikipia region, overlooking the vast, protected wilderness of the northern Suyian Conservancy. An important anchor to the area is the Rock Sanctuary, a mesmerizing formation of ancient stone boulders that rise dramatically from the landscape. Facing these mighty structures on the edge of the escarpment, the lodge enjoys an extraordinary vantage point above sweeping plains scattered with granite rocky outcrops. From here, the Ewaso Narok River winds through the landscape to the east, with Mount Kenya visible on the horizon on clear days.

Design

The design of Suyian Lodge draws on the granite rocks and hardy plant life that define the surrounding landscape.
