Updates from us

As we continue to inwardly assess the way we do business through a sustainability lens, our impact journey is constantly evolving. Below are some updates on our ongoing projects, new initiatives and developments within Pelorus Foundation.

Pelorus to join travel by B Corp

We’re excited to announce that Pelorus will be joining Travel by BCorp. Certification has just been the start of the journey for us and within the group, we're looking forward to discussing our internal roadmap, developing new ideas and contributing to the wider development of a better industry standard when it comes to environmental and social impact. 

1% Trip Donations Contributing To a Pilot Citizen Science in Kenya

At Pelorus, 1% of every trip is donated to Pelorus Foundation and their vital mission to source and scale innovative solutions for community-led conservation. From this, Pelorus Foundation was recently able to provide £3,000 to support their Kenyan project partners funding a research pilot project. By training local members of the community to assess and monitor the change, the project is working to enhance local skills and foster a sense of ownership over conservation efforts.
